Killer found after absconding from Homerton mental health unit

A killer who absconded from a mental health facility in east London has been found in hospital, police say.
Philip Theophilou, 54, left the facility in Homerton on Sunday and did not return, the Met Police said.
He was being detained for stabbing his neighbour Simon Breed. At a trial in 2005 he admitted manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility.
Officers detained him after finding him at a south London hospital in the early hours of Thursday.
The force had previously said officers were concerned he "posed a risk without access to his medication".
Following his conviction, Theophilou was sent to Broadmoor special hospital under the 1983 Mental Health Act.
Doctors said he had schizophrenia and had not been taking his medication at the time of the killing.
