Man dies after falling from height following Manchester police raid
A man has died after falling from a height as police raided a property as part of a investigation.
Greater Manchester Police said a man fell on Hamerton Road in Manchester at 19:00 GMT on Tuesday shortly after officers executed a warrant.
The incident has been referred to the force's professional standards directorate and the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).
The IOPC said it "received a mandatory referral" and was investigating.
"Our investigation is in its initial stages and our thoughts are with the man's family and friends all those affected by his death," a representative said.
