Netherton shooting: Man arrested on suspicion of murder
A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following a shooting in Merseyside.
Miguel Reynolds, 21, from Manchester was found with gunshot injuries in Assissian Crescent, Netherton, at about 20:00 BST on Thursday.
He was taken to hospital where he later died, Merseyside Police said.
The arrested man, who is from Manchester, is also being held on suspicion of conspiracy to rob, the force added.
Police are appealing for information following another shooting in Bootle just before the killing.
Detectives said they were keeping an "open mind" after shots were fired in Marie Curie Avenue before 20:00 BST on Thursday. There were no reports of injuries.
A police spokesman said: "It is possible there was an altercation in the road and the force has received reports of a loud bang being heard."
