Chester crash: Man arrested after woman dies following collision
A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a woman died following a car crash, police have said.
Cheshire Police said the 57-year-old died in hospital following a two-vehicle collision on Liverpool Road in Chester at about 10:45 GMT on Sunday.
It said a 31-year-old man was being held for questioning.
Appealing for witnesses, Sgt Russell Sime said it was believed a cyclist saw the crash and "may have video footage".
"I'd urge him and anyone else who has captured the collision on camera... to contact us," he added.
