Gang leader Curtis Warren charged over alleged order breach

A convicted gang leader who was jailed for drug trafficking has been charged with breaching a crime order imposed on his release.

Curtis Warren, 60, of Liverpool, was jailed for 13 years in 2009 and ordered to pay almost 拢200m to the government of Jersey.

He was arrested by the National Crime Agency in South Tyneside in July.

He has been charged with 11 offences and is due to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court on 15 December.

The charges include alleged breaches concerning communications devices, travel, vehicles, business and financial arrangements between November 2022 and July 2023.
