Widnes crash: Motorcyclist seriously injured

A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a crash with a car, police have said.

He was riding a Sym motorbike when he was involved in a collision with a blue Ford Fiesta in Moor Lane, Widnes before 15:00 GMT on Saturday, Cheshire Police said.

The man was taken to hospital where he is receiving treatment.

Police appealed for anyone with information and footage to contact them.
