A former head teacher is due to appear in court charged with sexually abusing teenage girls.
Mark Bocker, 63, faces four charges of sexual assault alleged to have been committed between 2007 and 2016.
Mr Bocker, of Gorse Lane in Formby, Merseyside, will appear at Blackburn Magistrates' Court on a date to be set.
Lancashire Police said the charges followed an investigation into historical sexual offences in the Oswaldtwistle area.
Mr Bocker, originally from Glasgow, had a 40-year career as a head teacher across the North West, and specialised in running alternative provision schools aimed at pupils who had been excluded from mainstream education.
