Liverpool: Man due in court charged with murder of pensioner

A man has been charged with the murder of a pensioner.
Brian Cullen, 73, was found injured in a Liverpool city centre property on Sunday, 10 February, and later died in hospital.
Merseyside Police said officers had been called to reports of a domestic assault in Midghall Street.
Ryan Cullen, 34, was arrested and has been charged with murder and criminal damage.
Mr Cullen, of no fixed address, is due to appear at South Sefton Magistrates' Court in Bootle on Monday (26 February).
Merseyside Police said the victim's family is being supported by specialist officers as the investigation continues.
