Brick thrown from Gorleston bridge damages police car

A police car has been damaged after it was hit by a brick thrown by two males from a footbridge.
Norfolk Police said the vehicle was travelling along the A47 at Gorleston, Norfolk, towards Lowestoft, when it was struck just after midnight.
The force said the brick was dropped from a footbridge that crosses the dual carriageway just after the Victoria Road roundabout.
No one was injured and a police investigation has been launched.
Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident, and anyone with dashcam footage, to contact them.
