Two men seriously injured in A617 crash

Two men have been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a crash on the A617 in Nottinghamshire.

Nottinghamshire Police were called to the scene of the two-vehicle collision near Kelham shortly after 07:00 BST on Tuesday.

The road was closed between Hockerton and the Newark roundabout and is likely to remain shut for some hours, officers said.

An appeal for witnesses or those with dashcam footage has been made.
