Carlton: Man dies in hospital after two-car crash
A 54-year-old man has died and two other people were injured in a two-car crash in Nottinghamshire.
Emergency services were called to Southdale Road, Carlton, just before 21:30 GMT on Wednesday.
The collision involved a Renault Captur and Volkswagen Golf.
The passenger from the Captur died in hospital while the 19-year-old male driver was treated for minor injuries and arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Police said he was additionally held on suspicion of drink-driving, driving without insurance and driving without a licence.
The Golf driver was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Officers have appealed for witnesses and dashcam footage.
