Jacksdale: Man injured after stabbing in village knifepoint robbery
A man was taken to hospital after being stabbed during a knifepoint robbery in a Nottinghamshire village.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was approached by two men in Albert Avenue, Jacksdale, on Thursday at about 22:25 GMT.
Nottinghamshire Police said he was attacked and had a valuable item of jewellery stolen from him.
He was treated in hospital for a stab wound to his arm and has since been released.
The attackers were understood to have left the scene in a car according to the force.
Officers are tracing a silver car, believed to be a Vauxhall Astra, which was seen in the area at the time.
Det Sgt Georgina Gallagher said: "This kind of offence is thankfully very rare in this area and we are working hard to track down the people responsible."
