Underwood: Biker seriously injured in crash with van on A608

A motorcyclist has suffered serious injuries after being involved in a crash with a van in Nottinghamshire.
Emergency services were called at 06:20 GMT on Thursday following the crash on the A608 Mansfield Road in Underwood.
The biker, in his 40s, was taken to hospital after he suffered serious injuries.
Motorists have been facing delays after the road was closed in both directions between junction 27 of the M1 and Alfreton Road.
Nottinghamshire Police said its officers are "working to understand what happened".
The force said the road was set to reopen at about 14:00.
Officers have urged any witnesses or people with dashcam footage to contact them.
