Nottinghamshire: Road closed after pedestrian hit by bus

A major road has been closed in Nottinghamshire after a pedestrian was hit by a bus.

The crash happened on the A6011 near Gamston Lock at about 18:15 GMT on Wednesday.

Nottinghamshire Police said the road was expected to remain closed "for some time" and motorists have been advised to find alternative routes.

No further information has been provided about the condition of the pedestrian.
