Thousands of people are set to attend the Nottinghamshire County Show on Saturday.
The event at Newark Showground will feature livestock competitions, animal displays and a family dog show.
A Hurricane fighter from the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is also due to make a flypast at 15:52 BST.
Organiser Elizabeth Helsall said the event was an opportunity for visitors to learn about food production, as well as for farmers to socialise.
"It's our main celebration where the farming and rural community come together," she said.
"It's very much a highlight in the social calendar, but also an opportunity for farmers to come and do business here."
Ms Helsall said the scheduled Hurricane flypast was one of the highlights of the event.
"We've been lucky enough to have a flypast for the last three years since Covid - it's very popular with visitors," she said.
