Daniel Kilbee admitted crimes including rape and making indecent images of children

A man who committed dozens of sexual offences including raping a two-year-old girl has been sentenced to life in prison with a minimum of 10 years.

Daniel Kilbee, 35, of Sutton Courtenay, Oxfordshire, carried out 30 sex crimes against six victims.

During two trials in July and August he was found guilty of sexual assault and sexual activity with a child.

He admitted 27 further crimes including rape and making indecent images of children between 1997 and 2015.

Judge Ian Pringle at Oxford Crown Court said Kilbee was "a dangerous and significant risk to the public".

At a five-day trial in July, he was found guilty of indecent assault against a girl under 16, sexual activity with a girl under 13 and two counts of indecency with a girl under 16.

'Predatory paedophile'

He pleaded guilty to two counts of rape, sexual assault against a woman in her 20s, and six counts of making indecent images of children.

At a second trial on 1 August, Kilbee admitted offences against a girl, which began when she was just two-years-old, between December 2012 and March 2013.

These were three counts of rape, two counts of inciting or causing a child to engage in sexual activity, attempted rape, and three counts of sexual assault.

Earlier this year Kilbee also pleaded guilty to indecency with a child, indecent assault and six counts of making indecent images of children.

Det Con Tania Wasilewski-Norman said: "Kilbee is a prolific predatory paedophile who is ready to blame everyone for his actions apart from himself.

"He has shown no remorse for his victims and has been aggressive towards police throughout.

"This has been a difficult case in which some victims were not even aware that they were a victim until we contacted them."
