Sheffield Parkway: Four taken to hospital after crash

Four people have been taken to hospital after a crash on Sheffield Parkway, which closed part of the road for several hours.
The incident happened just before midday on Friday near the junction for Parkway Market, and involved two cars.
A 38-year-old man, who was driving a BMW, suffered life-threatening injuries, while a 67-year-old female Mazda passenger was seriously hurt.
The Mazda driver, a woman aged 36, and a two-year-old boy had minor injuries.
The road was closed in both directions between the junction at Prince of Wales Road and Derek Dooley Way, but has since reopened.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or who has dashcam footage is asked to contact South Yorkshire Police.
