Four arrested in modern slavery raids in South Yorkshire
Four people have been arrested as part of a modern slavery sexual exploitation investigation in South Yorkshire, police said.
A 45-year-old man and 37-year-old woman were arrested at a residential property in Dinnington on suspicion of modern slavery concerning sexual exploitation.
Two women, aged 37 and 58, were arrested on suspicion of the same offence in the Manor area of Sheffield.
All four remained in custody, South Yorkshire Police said.
Det Insp James Smith, from South Yorkshire Police's Modern Slavery Team, said: "Modern Slavery is occurring within our communities across South Yorkshire.
"Information from members of the public is crucial so that vulnerable people who are potential victims of exploitation and locations of concern can be identified."
