Sheffield stabbing: Man and boy in court charged with attempted murder
A man and a boy have appeared in court charged with attempted murder.
Officers were called to West Street in Sheffield at 03:20 GMT on Saturday after a 26-year-old man was seriously injured in a stabbing.
Leon Sykes, 18, and the 17-year-old youth appeared at Sheffield Magistrates' Court on Monday.
Mr Sykes and the boy, who cannot be named because of his age, did not enter a plea and the case was sent to be heard at the crown court on 8 April.
The pair were also charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
The judge said Mr Sykes, of Victoria Street, Stocksbridge, and the youth should be remanded in custody ahead of their next court date.
