Stoke-on-Trent rally protests over spending cuts
People protesting about spending cuts have held a rally in Stoke-on-Trent.
The Public and Commercial Services Union organised the rally held in Lichfield Street car park.
Protesters said they wanted to say no to "savage cuts" which could be made from local and central government services.
Stoke-on-Trent City Council is looking to make up to 拢33m savings in its 2011/12 budget with more than 700 jobs at risk.
The Labour-led coalition council has said the cuts are not fair but responsibility for the reductions fell "squarely on the government".
