Detectives investigating the suspected murder of a man in Ipswich have made a third arrest.

Dean Stansby, 41, died of stab wounds to the abdomen near Ancaster Road, Ipswich, on Wednesday.

Suffolk police have already arrested a 39-year-old man from Ipswich and a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of murder. Both have since been released on bail.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man, of no fixed abode, during the early hours of Monday.

The man has been taken into custody at Martlesham Police Investigation Centre where he will be interviewed by detectives.

Mr Stansby was taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment after he was found in Ancaster Road but died a short time later.
