Lowestoft: Arrest after man found with serious head injuries
An arrest has been made after a man was found with "serious" head injuries on Boxing Day.
Suffolk Police said the victim, aged in his 20s, was assaulted following an altercation near the Carousel pub on the High Street, Lowestoft, at about 23:10 GMT.
The force said he was taken to hospital and was in a stable condition.
Officers arrested a man at the scene on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and put up a police cordon.
Anyone with information or dashcam footage was asked to contact the police.
