Paralympic teams from Sweden and Mauritius have chosen Surrey as their base for London 2012.

The teams will be holding their training camps at Surrey Sports Park in Guildford.

Competitors in swimming, table tennis and various athletics disciplines will prepare for the Games at the University of Surrey-owned venue.

Paralympic athletes from Argentina, Nigeria and Great Britain are also training there.

A further 14 Olympic teams will use the facilities in the lead up to London 2012 during July.

Paul Blanchard, Chief Executive of Surrey Sports Park, said: "We will be welcoming Olympic and Paralympic athletes at various points over the coming weeks.

"We are excited for the Surrey community to be able to come here and train alongside some of the world's most talented sports people."

The facilities at Surrey Sports Park include a 50m (164ft) pool, eight outdoor floodlit tennis courts and two new floodlit artificial grass pitches.
