Teenage boy arrested after two Hersham schools forced to lock down

A teenage boy has been arrested after two Surrey schools went into lockdown.
Bell Farm Primary School and Three Rivers Academy, in Hersham, implemented lockdown procedures as a precaution on Tuesday after an incident in Bell Farm Way.
A 15-year-old boy from West Molesey has since been arrested on suspicion of theft, common assault and possession of an offensive weapon.
Surrey Police said its inquiries into the incident were ongoing.
