Police are looking for witnesses after a man approached a 17-year-old girl in Surrey.
On Friday just after 13:35 GMT the girl got off a bus in Claygate before a man in a dark estate-style car pulled up alongside her.
Police said he asked her to get into his car, but she ignored him and returned home.
Surrey Police asked anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage to contact them.
The man is described as a white man in his late 20s, clean shaven and of a large build.
Police describe the car as an old-style grey Audi estate or similar with tinted windows.
The incident happened as the girl was walking towards the railway bridge having got off the bus on Hare Lane at the junction with Loseberry Road.
