Vectis Dinky toy auction fetches more than 拢165,000

Auctioneers said the Citroen type H Van was a "superb example" of a hard to find issue in this condition
A Dinky toy has sold for more than 拢6,000 at an auction on Teesside.
The French Dinky No.561 Citroen type H Van "Baroclem", which was in "near mint" condition, was expected to reach about 拢4,000 but fetched 拢6,240.
The van was one of 700 lots from the Malvern Collection of Dinky models which had been collected over 25 years.
Auctioneers at Vectis in Stockton-on-Tees, said it was a "fantastic sale" which fetched a total of 拢166,247.
The collection included many "rare and hard to find" variations, with several of the toys reaching about 拢2,000 each.
