Carlin How shooting: 58-year-old man dies from chest injuries
A man has died in a suspected shooting.
The 58-year-old was found with serious chest injuries, believed to have been caused by a firearm, in Brotton Road, Carlin How, on Friday.
Police said he was taken to James Cook University Hospital, where he died.
Three men aged 31, 32 and 35, and a woman, aged 32, arrested on suspicion of murder remain in police custody.
Witnesses to the attack at about 16:30 BST are urged to contact police.
Officers remain at the scene in the village, near Saltburn, while the investigation continues.
