Stockton cannabis farm worth 拢230k uncovered in raid

A cannabis farm with a street value of almost a quarter of million pounds has been uncovered in a raid in Teesside.

Officers executed a warrant at a property in Scurfield Road, Hardwick, Stockton, on Tuesday morning.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of a Class B drug and remains in police custody.

Cleveland Police said the cannabis plants were believed to be worth up to 拢230,000 if sold on the street.
