Middlesbrough: Murder charge after man's body found by police
A man has been charged with murder after police found a body at a property on Teesside.
Officers discovered the body of 52-year-old Darren Saunders at an address on Essex Street, Middlesbrough, after being called to an incident at about 21:00 GMT on Monday.
Cleveland Police say Mr Saunders' family are being given support.
A 24-year-old man has been remanded in custody ahead of a hearing a Teesside Crown Court on 5 February.
