Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe will be sharing some tricks of his trade with Durham University students.
The Gladiator and Robin Hood star has posted a message on his Twitter account to say he will be talking to members of Durham Student Theatre (DST) on Friday.
However, the event will only be open to existing members of the group, and tickets will be allocated by a draw.
The New Zealand-born actor is a friend of the university's chancellor, US author Bill Bryson.
Russell Crowe's tweet read: "On June 3rd I'll be at Durham University chatting with young actors in the morning and screening a home movie in the evening for DTS [sic] members."
Mr Bryson, who is stepping down from his role at the end of the year, has been praised by the university as a "wonderful ambassador for Durham".
