Ex-police boss accused of pushing groin against women on trains
A former chief superintendent has appeared in court charged with pushing his groin against three women on trains between Taunton and Bristol.
Gary Davies, 53, is accused of five indecent assaults on the crowded trains between December 2015 and May 2016.
He denies any wrong doing and is due before Bristol Crown Court next month.
Mr Davies, of Shoreditch Road, Taunton, left Avon and Somerset Police in 2012 to work for Bristol City Council, where he leads a unit for troubled families.
