Witnesses are being sought after an apparently racially-aggravated incident at a city centre bar.
Wiltshire Police said a member of security was verbally abused and assaulted at Frost in Salisbury.
The incident happened on Sunday at 22.30 GMT.
A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of two counts of common assault, and common assault on an emergency worker and racially-aggravated harassment, the force added.
He was released on conditional bail while further enquiries are carried out.
PC Jack Bailey said: "This is a busy local venue and members of the public would have been in the bar and the local area at the time.
"It is likely that somebody may have seen something and may have information which could assist our investigation."
Anyone with information about the incident at the venue, in Guildhall Square, is being asked to contact police.
