Woman dies after car leaves M4 and hits tree
A woman has died and two people remain in a life threatening condition following a collision on the M4.
A Volvo left the carriageway and collided with a tree on the M4 westbound between junctions 15 and 16 on Saturday at 11:50 GMT, police said.
A female passenger in her 60s from Oxford died at the scene in Wiltshire.
The male driver and a female passenger in her 20s were taken to Southmead Hospital in a life threatening condition.
Another male passenger aged in his 30s sustained an arm injury.
Wiltshire Police said specialist trained officers have been supporting the family's next of kin.
