Malton crash: Lorry driver dies after collision with tractor
A lorry driver has died after a collision with a tractor near Malton.
The 51-year-old man was driving a DAF HGV towing an open flatbed trailer which collided with a tractor on the B1248 at Wharram Le Street at around 11:30 BST on Tuesday, police said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, North Yorkshire Police confirmed. The tractor driver was unhurt and is helping with inquiries.
Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with footage to get in touch.
Both vehicles were travelling towards Norton when the collision occurred.
