DUP set to lose majority on Castlereagh Council
DUP leader Peter Robinson has confirmed to the 大象传媒 that he expects his party to lose overall control of Castlereagh Council.
There are still a number of seats to be counted but the trend so far is towards the Alliance Party which has gained two seats.
The Green Party is also on course for a seat.
The DUP's Sharon Skillen, who won the seat previously held by Iris Robinson, was eliminated on the sixth count.
Alliance sources are tipping Green candidate Martin Gregg to win a seat which would shift the balance away from the DUP.
