  • Published

Many famous landmarks and sites across the world have been 'going green' to mark St Patrick's Day.

It is part of Tourism Ireland's annual global greening campaign.

The head of Tourism Ireland, Niall Gibbons, said the act by so many countries was "a tribute to the spirit of St Patrick and his impact and also to the 70 million Irish people across the world".
