Flybe announces new Liverpool route from George Best Belfast City Airport
Flybe has announced it is to begin a year-round service between George Best Belfast City Airport and Liverpool.
It will operate up to three flights a day, from next February.
George Best Belfast City Airport said it was a "welcome addition" to its network.
Both it and Belfast International Airport have announced several new routes and operators in recent weeks.
Flybe also recently launched a service between Belfast City and London City, which is said to be "performing well."
Paul Simmons, Flybe's chief commercial officer, said the airline had undergone a significant overhaul of its business over the past year and "this has resulted in a more cost-effective, efficient and flexible operation, enabling us to increase the number of routes we can offer".
