Man charged with Castlederg bomb attack on policeman
A 38-year-old man is due to appear in court charged with the attempted murder of a Catholic police officer in 2008.
The off-duty officer suffered serious leg injuries in a booby-trap car bomb near Castlederg, County Tyrone.
The accused has also been charged with causing an explosion likely to endanger life or cause serious injury to property and membership of a proscribed organisation.
He is due to appear before Strabane Magistrates Court on Thursday.
A 44-year-old man arrested on Wednesday remains in custody, while a 37-year-old man has been released unconditionally.
