A 19-year-old man has died after being struck by a train in Lurgan, County Armagh.
He was hit at Bells Row by the 06:30 train from Portadown to Belfast, a Translink spokesperson said.
"We are currently working with the PSNI to investigate this incident," they added.
The NI Ambulance Service said they received a 999 call at 06:39 BST and dispatched two crews and one doctor. However, the man died at the scene.
The line between Moira and Lurgan was closed following the incident, but has since been reopened. Translink said knock-on delays and disruption were expected to continue for some time.
"Due to the timing of this incident, securing bus substitution services has been challenging causing disruption to some customers' morning commute," said a Translink spokesperson.
