Newtownards: Man seriously injured in Movilla Road attack

A man has been treated in hospital for serious injuries after he was assaulted outside a property in Newtownards on Sunday morning.

Police said nine people are believed to have been involved, arriving at the scene in Movilla Road in two vehicles, at about 01:25 BST.

The victim, aged in his 20s, escaped the building before he was attacked.

Police have appealed for anyone with footage of the incident to contact them.
