Lurgan: Two men punched and kicked in attack

Two men were assaulted in Lurgan, County Armagh, in the early hours of Sunday in what police described as an unprovoked attack.

The men, aged in their 30s and 50s, were reportedly punched and kicked by two men at about 00:20 GMT in Derrymacash Road.

The men were taken to hospital for treatment.

The police investigation is ongoing and officers have asked witnesses to come forward.
