Cork: Man arrested in Belfast under international warrant appears in court

A 36-year-old man arrested in Northern Ireland on Saturday in relation to an assault in Fermoy, County Cork, has appeared in court in Belfast.
He was detained in north Belfast under an international warrant to stand trial in the Republic of Ireland.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) worked with An Garda Siochana (Irish Police) to track down and arrest the man.
He appeared in court on Sunday, the PSNI said.
