Dungannon: Missing prisoner arrested after police chase
A man who was unlawfully at large has been returned to prison after a police chase in Dungannon, County Tyrone.
Police said three male occupants of a car were detained for a variety of offences following a "short pursuit" on Thursday afternoon.
One of them had been missing from HMP Maghaberry and had 11 months left on their jail sentence.
In a social media post, officers said the vehicle was brought to a controlled stop using a stinger device.
They added the vehicle had been suspected of involvement in a making off without payment offence, as well as drug and motoring offences.
