Strabane: Man suffers facial injuries in street attack

A man has sustained injuries to his face, including his nose, after being assaulted by another man in County Tyrone.

It happened on Railway Street, Strabane, at about 01:30 GMT on Sunday.

The victim was taken to hospital by the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. PSNI detectives at Strand Road station are appealing for information and witnesses.

They have asked anyone who was in the area at the time to get in touch.
