South Belfast Fertility clinic inquiry sees six to be reported to PPS
Six people are to be reported to Northern Ireland's Pubic Prosecution Service (PPS) in relation to a police investigation into a former fertility clinic in Belfast.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) confirmed five women and one man are to be reported to the PPS.
An "ongoing investigation" is being led by the PSNI's Economic Crime Unit.
The offences, under the Fraud Act, include fraud by false representation and conspiracy to defraud.
Other offences relate to money laundering, breaches of the Medicines Act, and Companies Act offences.
In a statement, Ch Insp Louise Dunne said: "This is a unique and complex case, which is being progressed as sensitively and expeditiously as possible.
"The investigation remains ongoing."
