Newry: PSNI officers among three people injured in crash
Three people, including two police officers, have been taken to hospital after a crash in Newry.
Officers were responding to a separate incident when their vehicle was in collision with another on the Fathom Road just before 19:30 BST on Saturday.
Both the fire and ambulance service attended the scene and first aid was provided.
All three people involved were then taken to hospital for injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
The road, which was closed following the crash, has now reopened.
A police spokesperson said: "I wish both our police officers and member of the public a speedy and full recovery from their injuries."
An investigation is under way, they added, and asked witnesses and those with dash cam footage to contact police.
