John Haggan: Three arrested over police officer's murder released
Three men arrested by detectives investing the murder of police officer John Haggan in 1994 have been released.
Constable Haggan, 33, who was known as Jackie, was shot while out with his wife and friends at Dunmore Greyhound Stadium in north Belfast.
The Newtownabbey officer was a father-of-two and his wife was pregnant.
The men, all aged in their 50s, were arrested at addresses in Belfast and Newtownabbey on Thursday.
They were arrested on suspicion of murder and membership of a proscribed organisation.
In a statement on Friday, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said all three men had been released following questioning.
Earlier in April, another man was arrested and released following questioning.
