Robbie Coltrane in pictures: 'Big guy, big heart, a massive talent'

Stars of film, television and comedy have been paying tribute to Robbie Coltrane, who has died at the age of 72.

Actor Sanjeev Kohli summed up the mood: "He was big in every sense of the word. A big guy, a big heart, a big intellect A massive talent."

In 2007, Coltrane, one of the trustees of the Riverside museum in Glasgow, brought a historic Scottish steam engine to Glasgow after 60 years in South Africa. Locomotive 3007 was designed and built in Polmadie, Glasgow, in 1945 and formed the centrepiece of the new attraction.
