Death of man found in Elgin burn 'not suspicious'
Police say the death of a man whose body was found in a burn in a Moray town is not being treated as suspicious.
Part of the A96 in Elgin was closed off after emergency services were alerted to the body at about 15:00 on Monday.
Police Scotland said the discovery was not connected to Storm Babet.
A spokesperson said inquiries were continuing into the 36-year-old man's death, but officers did not believe it to be suspicious.
The A96 was closed in both directions between Tyock Industrial Estate and Ashgrove Road on Monday.
