Glasgow students warned of mumps outbreak
- Published
An outbreak of mumps at Glasgow University has led to 37 students becoming infected.
The affected students are between 18 and 22 years of age and are attending a number of different courses.
People in this age group were more likely to have received only one dose of the MMR vaccine, making them more likely to catch mumps.
Students are being urged to contact their GP to check if they are fully protected against the disease.
